How to Use the PontiX Bridge for Token Transfer

This step-by-step guide will help you bridge tokens between chains using the PontiX bridge interface.

Step 1: Open the PontiX Bridge

• Navigate to PontiX Web App in your browser.

Step 2: Select the Token

• In the Token dropdown, select the token you wish to transfer. For this guide, the token chosen is CSC.
  
  

Step 3: Choose the Source Chain

• Click on the From dropdown menu and select the source chain from which the tokens will be transferred (e.g., XRPL).
  
  

Step 4: Choose the Destination Chain

• Click on the To dropdown menu and select the destination chain where the tokens will be sent (e.g., Solana).
  
  

Step 5: Enter the Amount to Bridge

• In the Amount of Tokens field, input the number of tokens you want to transfer. For example, enter 1,000,000 CSC.

• The equivalent USD value of the tokens will be displayed below.
  
  

Step 6: Review the Fees

• After clicking Continue, a breakdown of the fees will be shown:

  • Network Fee

  • Bridge Fee

  • Total Fees in both CSC and USD

  • The final Tokens to Receive after deducting the fees.

• Review the details and click Accept if the information is correct.
  
  

Step 7: Enter the Destination Address

• In the Destination Address field, provide the wallet address on the destination chain.

• If required, input the Destination Memo.

• Alternatively, click Connect your Wallet to connect a compatible wallet directly (e.g., Phantom for Solana).
  
  

Step 8: Connect the Wallet

• Select the wallet you wish to use from the wallet options. For example:

  • Phantom (installed).

  • If a wallet is not installed (e.g., Solflare), you will need to install it before proceeding.

• Approve the wallet connection request to allow the PontiX bridge to interact with your wallet.

Step 9: Verify and Confirm

• After the wallet is connected, ensure the destination address is correct.

• Click Next to proceed.
  
  

Step 10: Deposit Tokens

• The PontiX bridge will display the deposit address and instructions.

• Use one of the available options (e.g., Transfer with Xaman or Crossmark) to send the tokens to the deposit address provided.

• Wait for the deposit to be received and confirmed.
  
  

Step 11: Scan the QR Code to Deposit

• Use the Xaman app to scan the displayed QR code. This will initiate the transfer of the selected tokens to the deposit address.

• Follow the prompts in the app to complete the payment request.
  
  

Step 12: Deposit Confirmation

• Once the deposit is received, the interface will show a Deposit received status.

• The system will then proceed to sign the transaction. Wait for the process to complete.
  
  

Step 13: Transaction Submission

• After the transaction is signed, it will be submitted for processing.

• The interface will display updates as the transaction progresses through the bridging process.
  
  

Step 14: Bridge Completion

• Once the bridge is complete, you will see a Bridge Completed status with all steps marked as successful.

• Click Close to finish the process.

1. Double-check all input fields, especially wallet addresses and memos, to avoid errors.

Check your destination chain wallet to confirm receipt.
